Tigre Film

Tigre Film was born from the meeting of two producers Jean-Bernard and Narinderpal-Singh with singular paths, shaped by travel, documentary filmmaking, and a deep commitment to real-world stories. Based in Paris, the company grows at the crossroads of cinema, exploration, and lived experience. Our work is driven by a belief that films should not only be seen, but felt — that storytelling is a way of entering the world, not escaping it.

Our roots lie in documentary cinema, where we have developed a strong sense of reality, attention to human presence, and respect for places and cultures. This background informs everything we produce, including our feature films: a cinema anchored in the tangible, open to ambiguity, and attentive to what lies beneath the surface.

We collaborate with filmmakers from diverse backgrounds, drawn to voices that are personal, bold, and necessary. Tigre Film has built a particularly close relationship with India, and especially with the Punjab region, through years of work on the ground. This familiarity with language, culture, and territory allows us to approach stories from within, with accuracy and sensitivity rather than distance or folklore.

Tigre Film is not a factory of content. It is a space for encounters, for risk, and for creation. We accompany projects over time, from their first intuition to their life on screen, seeking films that travel, that resonate across borders, and that leave a trace.
